Kidlington 3s got their first win of the season against top of the table Wolvercote. Put in to bat KCC had the worst start, a wicket from the first ball and soon were three down but fought back with two big partnerships. Jed Launchbury dominated the bowlers with a fine innings of 69 and was well supported by Jake Townsend, 32. KCC then collapsed from 150/4 to 174 all out which seemed a bit light on a hard dry pitch but the KCC bowlers were on top from the start of the Wolvercote innings. A tight opening spell from Ran and Oscar was followed by excellent controlled bowling from Jed and Tony Launchbury as they ripped through the batting line up. Jacob Lal and Oscar came on to finish off the tail and seal a deserved win for KCC.
