The Under 11 super 8s are going from strength to strength

Freeland won the toss and decided to field. First for Kidlington to bat were Morgan Jeacock and George Burns. It was a flying start and they got us 25 runs. Tom Spokes and Luca van der Linden were next and the fantastic due were able to add another 38 runs to it.

A great performance from the remaining 4 batsmen, Kumayl Hussain, Matthew Hunt, Jack Gaskell and Jack McGrath saw us end on a fantastic 309 runs with only 1 wicket lost.

The Kidlington fielding and batting was a joy to watch. The team made life very difficult for Freeland with some very tight fielding. 2 great catches from George Burns and both Jack Gaskell and Luca van der Linden taking 3 wickets got us a great result. It was great to see how they play more as a team every week and communication in the field and between the batsmen is fantastic.
