KCC under 11s lost at Banbury in an entertaining match. KCC batted first and started well with Neil Talmaki looking good again before being run out on 11. Ariyan Jagnani hit two lovely fours before being given out LBW. Jacob Evans again showed good technique with the bat and stuck around to add some useful runs but runs were hard to come by and KCC ended on 55 off 20 overs.
Banbury got off to a flyer with 13 off the first over and seemed very comfortable in chasing the target. However KCC would not give up without a fight and rallied well to pick up 5 wickets and make it a tense finish. Sam Fransham (4-0-20-2) again getting wickets and Matthew Wyatt was the pick of the bowlers with excellent figures of 4-0-9-2. 10 more runs on the KCC total would have made this a very interesting game.
