Another win for our under 11s and another great team performance. We have a great squad of players in this group and it was good to see Aariyan Jagnani and William Pratt rise to the challenge after a shaky start to our batting innings.
Sam Fransham was once again the star with the ball, the captain taking another 3 wickets, that's 8 already this season!
Max Earp also picked up a wicket and there were good catches for William Pratt and Neil Talmaki. It was a solid team effort in the field with Aariyan doing a good job as wicketkeeper and everyone backing up the bowlers well. We were set a decent total of 78 by Bletchingdon and after a slow start we lost a couple of wickets which gave the opposition the upper hand. However we have a strong batting line up and in a super partnership of over 50 runs between Aariyan and William took us to victory with two overs to spare.
Aariyan hit a couple of fours in a very entertaining innings while William went along with no alarms looking very composed.
