We had a very enjoyable youth teams and All Stars BBQ on Friday 19th, despite the appalling weather outside! We instead had an indoor BBQ, following on from our indoors All Stars session. There was a big queue at the hatch for sausages and burgers, and many happy faces enjoying the food. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly an impromptu indoor cricket match featuring our youth players of all ages - All Stars, under 11s, under 13s and an under 15 - all enjoying themselves despite the weather outside. We were particularly grateful to our All Star umpire Freddie who was extremely fair and decisive!

Many thanks to all players, parents, friends and family who came along to make it an enjoyable evening. Particular thanks to Tony Launchbury, Lizzie Collett, Darren Bray and Katie Bray for cooking and serving the food, Fay Earp for shopping advice, and Barry and Matt at Stratfield Brake for providing use of the indoor space at short notice.

We made a small profit on the BBQ which we will be putting back into the club, renewing our equipment for next year's season.
