Many thanks to our sponsors Kel-Berg

We are very pleased to see the extra equipment that our sponsorship has enabled the club to purchase
- Jason Day, Kel-Berg

Over the winter we have been able to significantly add to our training and playing equipment for youth players, thanks to generous sponsorship from Kel-Berg Trailers and Trucks. We have added to our protective equipment with new pads, wicketkeeping gloves and batting gloves, with some new kit especially for our youngest players and for left-handers. We now have a much wider range of basic training equipment, with new plastic stumps and bases, more wooden spring stumps, plastic bats, balls for different types of training (tennis balls, windballs, incrediballs, hard balls), cones and marker discs. Beyond this we’ve also been able to invest in advanced training equipment, including a Crazy Catch rebound net, a Katchet reaction board, a sidearm bowling aid and a bowling target net.

Much of this equipment has already been used during our winter training sessions and will be very well used during our outdoor training from the end of April. Many thanks to Kel-berg Trailers and Trucks for the generous support that has enabled us to buy this extra equipment.

Having seen the additional equipment that is now being used by KCC, Jason Day at Kel-Berg said: “When Kel-Berg were approached by the club for sponsorship they explained that their main aim was to try and bring more youngsters into the game, giving them the chance to get involved in a sport. We are very pleased to see the extra equipment that It has enabled the club to purchase. As a local company we felt it is important for us to get behind a club providing an opportunity for the next generation of rising stars.

We would like to thank the guys behind the scenes at Kidlington cricket club who give up their precious spare time to make all this possible. Good luck for the season ahead.”
