This was another very solid performance by KCC's under 13s against what was quite a young Bletchingdon team. We switched around our team to give opportunity for more people to bat than in last week's fixtures, and those who were promoted did a great job. Particularly notable was Jacob Evans, scoring a fantastic 32 retired with 28 scored off boundaries. Any deliveries to the leg side were dismissed authoratively to the rope - Jacob has a mean pull shot! He was well supported by Tom Lord, who looked great for his 9 before being bowled by Charlie. Josh Behal was on fire yet again, looking absolutely unstoppable on his way to 31 retired. Neil Talmaki got in the runs too, ending on 20 not out and supported by Tom Rochford who played some fine strokes including three boundaries for his 14 not out. Pick of Bletchingdon's bowlers was Will who finished with 3-0-17-2.
In reply Bletchingdon struggled to get runs off the bat for the first ten overs, at which point they were 33-2 with Sam and Toby bowling Luke and Bow respectively. They put on runs at a much faster rate during the second ten overs, notably from Will who retired on 18 and Prathan who retired on 28. But the run rate was too much and Kidlington won comfortably in the end.
