Kidlington under 13s 11 a side team fell just short in chasing a total of 101 against Freeland at Stratfield Brake on Sunday. With a few players away on holiday it was an opportunity for some of our newer players to get involved and they put in a good performance as Harry Brock grabbed two wickets and did a great job as captain of the side. However the star of the day was one of our more experienced players Alec Puleston who hit 32 not out as KCC tried to chase down the total. This was a great effort from Alec after an unlucky run with the bat, great to see his hard work paying off. Well done to all who played and helped organize the game.
