KCC under 13s recorded another victory in what is becoming a really good season. Playing at home in the 8 a side league against Chadlington KCC restricted the visitors to 226 of 16 overs with an excellent bowling display. Every player bowled and contributed well to the task of restricting runs. It was particularly pleasing to see our new players Alex Keighery, Alex Neale and Owen Comley all get involved in the field and take wickets. And they continued to influence the game with the bat. KCC got off to a shaky start with the very few runs coming from the first 6 overs but sensible batting got them back on track and Jack Launchbury smashed a couple of fours to up the run rate and settle the nerves. KCC captain Kamran Ramzan came in late in the innings and top scored with 19 to secure the win. A good display all round, a few fine catches were taken by Saul, Alex K and Jack and Thomas Sherwood and Tom Hall put in good bowling performances picking up well deserved wickets.
