KCC U13 fall just short in run chase

A superb effort from Kidlington U13s was just not enough to win this cup match at Minster Lovell. Minster Lovell batted first and batted with great care against good controlled bowling by KCC to reach 107 for 3 off 20 overs. Ajay Behal and Tommy Clark were the pick of the bowlers each taking a wicket.
In reply KCC lost an early wicket but then built good partnerships in pursuit of the total. They were well on target in the 11 over at 60 for 1 with Tommy and Ajay looking very comfortable, but a couple of quick wickets slowed up the run rate and the pressure started to build. Kamran Ramzan and Hamish Hall kept them in the game with some good aggressive batting but the run rate proved too tall an order and KCC ended just 4 runs short of the target.

A thrilling game and superb team effort by Kidlington.
