KCC U13s go down to Abingdon

KCC U13s showed great strength and determination against one of the strongest clubs in our league. KCC batted first and scored 277 after 16 overs with Tom Hall and Tom Wynn the best batting pair with 29 runs between them including some big hits to the boundary.

Abingdon Vale responded with an excellent batting display by their county captain who scored 11 fours in his 46 runs. KCC bowlers took two early wickets but the opening stand pretty much sealed the game for them with the rest of their batsmen taking no chances and seeing out the overs to ensure they didn't lose any further wickets. Kamran was the pick of our bowlers with 1/19 off 3 overs.

A good effort by a young KCC side and great to see both Toms get some runs.
