After bowling well to restrict Bicester to 113 runs off 20 overs KCC U13s were unable to sustain a decent start with the bat and fell well short after 20 overs.
KCC were again short of players and had to call the U11s to assist and despite some good performances they always looked to be chasing the game.
Bicester openers scored freely in the early overs but Fraser Day stemmed the flow of runs with an excellent spell of bowling finishing with 2/15 off 4 overs. Tommy Clark also bowled well.
The KCC innings got off to a slow start and once opener Kamran Ramzan was bowled off what should have been a no ball, KCC looked in a spot of bother. However, Tommy Clark held the innings together and built some good partnerships to ensure KCC at least batted out the 20 overs.
So another missed opportunity for KCC in what is becoming a very frustrating season, but great to see Fraser back in action.
