KCC 3rds struggled in the heat at home to a strong Stanton Harcourt team. Batting first they got off to a decent start with Ran De Silva (25) and Joshua Behal (35) making the main contributions but the innings fell away as the visiting bowlers took control. Josh Behal showed his potential in another classy display following the many fine performances he has had in youth cricket this season. Matthew Suckling again showed he is comfortable at senior level and looks like another good prospect.
With only 98 runs on the board it was never going to be a long match whish is just as well given the temperature. Ummer Dogar (4-0-17-1) bowled well again picking up a wicket. The only other wicket went to Oscar Hewitt and they reached the target in the 14th over.
