3rds lose to Swinbrook

Martin Eagle played another fine innings for his second fifty of the season. Eagle hit seven 4s in a well paced innings of 76 which kept KCC in the game for a long time. He was well supported by Simon Smith (19) and Mohit Talmaki (32) and Lauren Smith (9), all contributing to some good partnerships but unfortunately it was just not enough to see them home. KCC lost the game with their bowling, too many short and wide deliveries and full tosses, Ran Da Silva was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 12-2-30-1.
Well done to all of our youth players, once again Lauren Smith took a super catch, another couple of wickets for Oscar and it was great to see Jack Launchbury get some good overs in. Thanks to Ran and Hazel for lovely tea.
