Kalyan and Dogar put on over 120 partnership together!

On a very hot day away at Kennington and what looked to be a track with a bit help for the bowlers Moss won the toss and elected to field, with only 10 players on both sides this was going to be a long and hot day!

Opening up with our youngsters, Ajay Behal (6-0-18-1) who bowled extremely well and was very unlucky not have taken more wickets in this spell just taking the wicket of S Ali caught (6) by Dogar behind the stumps and Malcolm Webb (7-0-42-0) who after just coming back found it difficult to get the rhythm going.

On came the next youth duo of Kalyan (6-0-22-1) and Ramzan (5-0-19-0) with Kalyan picking up the wicket of A Ali (45) caught by Razwan behind the stumps again, but this was getting hotter and we were all feeling the pain is the glorious sunshine.

Behal came back on finishing with figures of (12-2-35-1), he was so unlucky with a couple of catches going down and could have ended up with some amazing figures as bowled very tight, and Moss (10-0-35-2) who only seems to bowl a long spell at this venue taking the wicket of H Ali (53) caught by Hewitt on what can only be described as a Terrible ball but they all count, and Trafford (6) with a catch by A Behal, and not to mention the drop by Moss off his own bowling which was not that easy but should have been taken. But Kalyan came back on replacing Behal to finish up with figures of (11-0-42-3) pick up the wickets of Loman (23) caught by Ramzan with a juggling act! And Fogg (11) LBW, but most people on the pitch thought it was a bit of an unfair decision on Fogg!

But we must mention a great fielding performance by Webb who ran his socks off all game and contributed to a great run out, and saved a lot of runs throughout the innings, and to young Joseph Hewitt who had the magnet all day and the ball kept going to him!
Finishing up on 187 this probably was going to be a tough test for our 10 players to follow,

After Tea opening the batting was M Webb (5) bowled by Ali, and Britton (1) runout all his own fault on this as well!!!, but that then brought young guns Kalyan and Behal (13) to the crease both of these youngsters have awesome talent, Behal certainly not happy playing across the line to a short ball and missing, Dogar was next into bat who along with Kalyan took the game away from Kennington, Dogar (66) hitting some mighty blows and Kalyan (82) who played some of the best timed shots I have seen for many years from a young player this pair putting on over 120 runs together, but as usual we like to put some pressure on ourselves with these 2 getting out late on and Ramzan (0) being caught to what should have been a no ball, it was left to Webb (1 Not out) and Moss (6 not out) to see the game out and complete an amazing victory, with 3.1 overs to spare.

Men of the Match no doubt KCC U15 Sahil Kalyan, and Kennington U15 H Ali who scored 53 and (4-26) with the ball.
