This week with Captain Moss not available we see Youth Chairman Paul Hewitt take on the captaincy,

With a selection of youth and senior players this should be a great game, in comes Jim Blackford and Simon Smith to sure up the side, but more importantly both these senior players support the clubs policy that the 3rd XI should have as many youth players in it as possible, we see 5 x U13/U15 players this week with debutante Matt Comley playing his 1st game at senior level behind the stumps.

Yes we could have fulfilled this with all senior players as we have no 2nd team fixture, but this is not what this side is about, yes we all want to win but to win long term we have to invest in our youth.
