on another lovely day at the brake Oliver had no hesitation when winning the toss for a third week in electing to bat, things got off to a good start with 17 coming from the first two overs but unfortunately that's where it ended and KCC just couldn't get any momentum and lost wickets at crucial times , two of the top five failed to trouble the scorer , Smith had a dubious LBW and Behal ran himself out for 20 other than that short partnership there was nothing to write home about and kcc limped to a below par 171 at tea.
KCC needed to bowl well to be in with a chance and the dependable launchbury got us off to the best possible start with clean bowling the opener first ball, he bowled exceptionally picking up 6 wickets in the end for a very economical 27, unfortunately no one else could join the party ..despite Bahal picking up two good wickets we just didn't have enough runs on the board and Wootton won the match in the 44th over with two wickets still in hand
good efforts lads and lets look onto next week :)
