Its been a tough start to the year with the Facility!

Dear All

It has been an extremely tough start to life at Stratfield Brake under new management of which some of you have probably seen via social media, working with the Council and Continental landscapes with all the issues we have been having.

I met again with the people actually doing the work today 18th May and explained all the things which have been wrong and how to correct them, now this is not all going to corrected for this weekend but I have a lot of confidence as from next week we are going to see a massive improvement.

Just to clear up any mis-understanding of where responsibilities lies

1. Cherwell District Council are responsible for the pitches of which they sub-contract to Continental Landscapes
2. Legacy Leisure are responsible for the Nets and the facility including cricket tea’s

After this weekend we will be going back to using the rope and have a decent boundary size again and Matt at Legacy will insure the teas are of a much higher standard.

Therefore, can I ask everybody to be positive this weekend, They will still have some improvements to make and work with everybody to gain the end result we are all looking forward to

Many Thanks

John Moss
KCC Chairman
