We had a fabulous start to the cricket season on Sunday 17th, with 30 youth players and 20 seniors coming for our indoor nets. It was great to see so many people along to blow away the winter cobwebs and get warmed up for the summer to come.
Especially pleasing was seeing so many new youth players come to indoor nets - we had twelve new players come and try out cricket at KCC for the first time. We hope they had a great time and will be back next week!
As it was so busy tonight, we suggest that for future sessions the under 15 players join the senior nets session from 6.30 pm rather than coming at 5.30 pm. A reminder that contributions per week for indoor sessions are £2 per youth player and £5 per senior player.
For new youth players who would like to keep coming to indoor nets, all details of the arrangements for the 2019 season can be found in this document.
The important next step for new players is to register for an account on the club website. You can do this by clicking 'join this club' on the top right of this page. All of our communications are done via the website, and importantly this will provide us with emergency contact details and any medical conditions for all of our players.
Many thanks to all our volunteer coaches who made it such an enjoyable session on Sunday: Nick Jeacock, Paul Hewitt, Edd Willmot, Sam Kimber, Mo Talmaki, Richard Walker and Andy Oliver.
